Why does our 240hz tv say its displaying at 60hz when we press info...its a Samsung UN55B8000?
We are exhilarated with the picture on our new TV, but we bought a Samsung 240 hz 55 inch and it says both in the owners directions and on the screen its displaying "@ 60hz"....is it achievable to change it to displaying 240 hz or is it possible we were given the unfair TV?
I tally with the answer Cornholio wrote because what UN55B8000 LED HDTV's Auto Gesticulate Plus 240Hz technology does, is that "it uses interpolation to intelligently count and place three new frames between two existing frames to create smoother transitions."
